Finding MAGIC

in everyday designs

And fueled by tea. Lots of tea.

With the start of being hired on the spot for a Disney internship, I began an 8 year long career in Experience Design. From my humble beginnings of learning to craft wireframes and interactive prototypes, I had no idea where my career would lead me today. It took many years but I worked my way up from individual contributor to leading enterprise application design and driving the success of many projects for the company. I found a passion for the user, pushing for Design Thinking practices and accessibility in all of our designs. I also thrived in forming relationships with our diverse partners, from business liaisons to tech leads, who I found a particular bond with thanks to my past in Web Design.

My desire to help others does not just end at design work. I volunteer often with Give Kids the World, a local community that helps children with critical illnesses experience all the magic life has to offer. And my creativity finds new leaps and bounds in my free time as I am writing my first book, painstakingly editing it to perfection.

Here in Orlando, FL, I live with my giant of a husband (6’5” to my 5’1“). You’ll often find a spooky black cat in my lap and a cup of tea in my hand, ever ready to take on the day. I look forward to new challenges and will face them with kindness and a smile.
